ASTM B163 / ASME SB163 Monel 400 / UNS N04400 Nickel-Copper Alloy Seamless U Bend Tube
ASTM B163/ ASME SB163 specification relates to tubes defined by their outside diameter along with either average wall thickness or minimum wall thickness. It applies to sizes of 3 inches (76.2 mm) in outside diameter or less, with minimum wall thicknesses not exceeding 0.148 inches (3.76 mm) and average wall thicknesses not exceeding 0.165 inches (4.19 mm). Monel 400 is mainly consist of Nickel and Copper, which known for its excellent corrosion resistance, good strength and thermal stability, especially in marine environments and acidic conditions.

Corrosion Resistance: Monel 400 is highly resistant to corrosion in seawater and many acidic environments. This makes it ideal for applications in chemical processing, marine engineering, and oil and gas extraction.
