What is a weldolet?
Weldolet is the kind of pipe fitting used to make a branch with the littler size of primary pipe. Weldolet normally utilized as a part of piping with high pressure weight and temperature where the connection with the joint type butt weld. Weldolets are principally sorted as butt weld fittings, as these are welded into the branch pipe. The principle favorable position of weldolets is that it limits stress focus as are well-suited for high pressure weight applications.
Weldolet is a type of branch pipe stand that has been widely used abroad in recent years. It is a reinforced pipe fitting used for branch pipe connection, replacing the traditional branch pipe connection types such as reducing tee, reinforcing plate, and reinforced pipe section. Why people use weldolet?
The main function of the weldolets is to divert the flow from a larger pipe to a comparatively smaller one without much affecting the pressure within the pipe and as a result, is responsible for continuing the flow of the pipes throughout the system effectively. And in order to perform this function effectively, the super duplex steel weldolets possess impressive strength and toughness, not only to withstand the pressure inside the pipes but to also tackle the mechanical strain from the outside, if any. Working alongside pipes requires the weldolets to be exposed to the components within the piping system, components that can be corrosive to metals and alloys as well. Therefore, the weldolets made of super duplex steel are equipped with corrosion resistance properties, beneficial in defending themselves against the degrading effect of the corrosive agents.
