Stainless steel A403 WP304 contains higher chromium and lower carbon content. Lower carbon means less chromium carbide precipitation due to welding. The carbon content of this steel is as low as 0.03%, thus reducing its susceptibility to intergranular corrosion. This steel can be continuously exposed to temperatures of about 1500°F without significant fouling.
It is suitable for a variety of applications such as automotive headers, machine parts, screws, and food handling equipment. We offer these DIN 1.4301 stainless steel butt welded pipe fittings in different forms such as tees, reducers, crosses, stub elbows, elbows and end caps.
