KM70 Coal / ore hopper car is designed for Chinese 1435mm standard gauge railway to transport bulk goods such as coal, mineral ores and etc. It is mainly composed of chassis, bottom doors, bottom door opening and closing mechanism, air control pipeline device, bogie, braking device and coupler buffer device. The unloading port is on both sides of the vehicle bottom and there are 4 unloading hatches, which can be unloaded quickly by air control or by manual. The chassis and the bottom doors are all welded steel structure. It adopt K6 casting bogies, 120 type air brake control valve, NSW type hand brake, #17 coupler and MT-2 buffer.
