Ferro Silicon Magnesium (FeSiMg) alloy is a type of ferroalloy composed of iron (Fe), silicon (Si), and magnesium (Mg). It is primarily used as an additive in the production of cast iron and steel.
FeSiMg alloy is commonly used in the production of ductile iron (also known as nodular or spheroidal graphite iron) and compacted graphite iron. These materials find applications in various industries, including automotive, machinery, construction, and pipe manufacturing.
Product Function
1.Improve steel quality, reduce the cost and save aluminum, it is especially applied in continuous casting steel of deoxidizing requirements.
2. It can not only meet the deoxidizing requirements of steelmaking, but also have the performance of desulphurization, in addition have advantages of big specific gravity and strong penetration.
Ferro Silicon Magnesium Si Mg Nodulant used for nodular cast iron, adding hot metal can play a role in spheroidizing, desulfurization and outgassing. Si Mg Nodulant can also improve the molten iron purity; generate compound insoluble in water with arsenic, zinc, tin, lead and other low melting point impurity.
