Welljets handheld TIJ (Thermal Inkjet) printer is a portable printing device that utilizes thermal inkjet technology to produce printed content. TIJ technology relies on small heating elements within the print head that heat the ink, causing it to vaporize and form tiny bubbles. These bubbles then burst, propelling ink droplets onto the printing surface.
This is the ideal ultra-portable handheld printer for when you want to print clear and concise text, images and codes on the go, onto a variety of substrates with superb ink adhesion from our range of specialist inks. The industrial design means the printer thrives in most environments, and with an ultra long-life battery, you can expect it to perform at any job you throw at it, time and time again.
The printer has an extremely low cost of ownership, with a single cartridge able to print up to 18,000,000 characters. Utilising the latest Thermal Inkjet technology, it's also completely maintenance-free; each time you change your cartridge, you're effectively replacing the printhead for a brand new one.
Just how portable is it? With it's built-in operating system, you have everything you need to change and edit your prints on the fly. No wires required. Store up to 1,000 prints on the USB provided: text, images, logo's or QR codes to name a few.
