Nine secrets to extending the service life of drill pipes
1. When using a new drill pipe, it should be ensured that the thread cut in front of the drill bit is also close to the new one
2. When using drill rods for the first drilling, it is necessary to first "grind the new buckle", apply thread oil, then use the drilling rig to tighten it with all force, and then open the buckle. Repeat this process three times to avoid new wear and buckles.
3. Try to maintain the drill pipe in a straight line below and above the ground as much as possible
4. When fastening, it should be slowly tightened to reduce overheating and wear.
5. Every time the buckle is fastened, it must be tightened with full torque and attention should be paid to the condition of the clip regularly.
6. Shorten the distance between the drilling rig and the ground opening
7. Keep the entrance angle as small as possible and slowly change the angle according to the safety requirements of the drill pipe.
8. Do not exceed the maximum bending radius of the drill pipe, and pay special attention to the angle changes during drilling.
9. Keep rotating the use of drill pipes to avoid excessive wear and breakage.
