Hydro-generator is composed of rotor, stator, frame, thrust bearing, guide bearing, cooler, brake and other main components (see figure).The stator is mainly composed of frame, iron core and winding.The stator core is made of cold rolled silicon steel sheet, and the whole and split structure can be made according to the manufacturing and transportation conditions.Generally, closed circulation air cooling is used for cooling water turbine generator.Large capacity units tend to use water as the cooling medium to directly cool the stator.If the stator and rotor are cooled simultaneously, it is a double internal chiller generator set.
