Realkey's tilt tray sorter, commonly referred to as the flip tray sorter, is a practical and economical sorting solution tailored for efficiently managing small and medium-sized packages. This advanced device is designed to enhance sorting operations across multiple sectors.
The sorter integrates key components such as tray carriers, conveyor systems, tilting mechanisms, identification solutions, control units, and track frames, all functioning through horizontal continuous conveying. Items are loaded onto trays positioned on top of motorized carts, which travel along the designated track. Upon reaching the sorting point, the tilting mechanism is activated, causing the items to slide off the trays.
Thanks to its design, the tilt tray sorter is highly versatile, capable of sorting a diverse array of items from parcels and boxes to envelopes and cylindrical or spherical products that are typically challenging for conventional sorting machines.
Depending on the model, Realkey's tilt tray sorter offers a processing capacity of around 7,200 to 10,800 items per hour, effectively addressing the high-efficiency sorting demands of various industries, including postal services, courier operations, e-commerce, clothing distribution, and fresh produce handling.
