Description of Laminated Glass Sheets:

Laminated Glass is made from two sheets of glass bound together with a plastic or resin interlayer.  The standard and minimum interlayer is 0.38mm thick, however other interlayers are also available in 0.76, 1.14 or 1.52mm. Laminated Glass has a similar impact strength resistance to Annealed Float Glass. However, it does not shatter and spread when broken, instead remains intact on its plastic or resin interlayer, protecting people from injury. 

In residential and commercial projects, Laminated Glass provides many benefits, safety, security, sound reduction, solar energy control and UV control (99%UV blocked). By using special interlayers and or heat treated glass it can have high Strength.  In combination with printed, coloured or special inserts, it can also be used to create Decorative Effects.

1. Safety: The laminated glass installed in the building can still keep intact in the original frame after being suffered any external shocks, even if glasses are broken. Personnel inside and outside the building will not be hurt by flying shards of glass;

3. Blast and ballistic protection: multi-layer laminated glass can be used to create multiple levels of bullet-proof glasses;

4. UV protection: have great barrier effect for sunlight's ultraviolet rays; UV Rejection is up to 99%; can avoid ultraviolet radiation;

5. Sound Control: PVB film has insulation and absorption effects for sound wave, so that it can reduce noise.
