Composite floor deck is part of a flooring system that is commonly used in commercial and industrial buildings. Type B Deck is the most common structural metal decking in the industry, which is very popular in America, B Deck is lightweight, strong, economical, and easy to install. Type B-Deck is divided into Type B Roof Deck and Type B Floor Deck. Both types have identical dimensions but with different sidelape connections. The only difference between them is the embossed pattern on the floor deck, which the concrete adheres to.
