A new variety of steel plates for marine engineering: S460G2+QT steel plates with two specifications of 50mm/100mm thickness have been successfully trial produced for offshore platforms. The production process of EQ43-EQ51 and WDB620E has been confirmed and optimized. 177.8mm, 185mm, and 215mm thick A517GrQ steel plates have been trial produced, certified by ABS classification society. S355G10+N trial production has been completed, and the test results of steel plates with different thickness specifications of 25-110 are good, and all performance indicators can fully meet the standard requirements, We have successfully developed the NVE690 steel plate for marine engineering ships and put it into mass production.

E-grade marine engineering steel plates require a low impact strength of 40 degrees and a yield strength of 690MPA or above. Completed certification from three classification societies, ABS, DNV, and CCS, for use on offshore drilling platform racks, drilling platform cantilevers, and offshore wind turbine installation ships.
The rolled plate has a thickness of 8mm to 700mm, a width of 1500mm to 4020mm, and a length of 3000mm to 27000mm. According to performance and user needs, steel plates can be hot-rolled in AR, controlled rolling CR, thermomechanical control process TMCP, normalized N, quenched Q, tempered T, quenched and tempered QT, normalized and tempered, quenched and tempered, and other states.
The ship plate has been certified by nine classification societies, including ABS in the United States, BV in France, LR in the United Kingdom, GL in Germany, DNV in Norway, RINA in Italy, NK in Japan, CCS in China, and KR in South Korea. It can produce Z-direction performance steel plates of various grades such as Z15-Z35.
