Principle


The core component of the Week Alkaline Water Ionizer is the membrane electrolytic cell, which is furnished with positive and negative electrodes internally. Once tap water enters the electrolytic cell, under the influence of direct current, the water molecules undergo an electrolytic reaction.
At the cathode, water molecules acquire electrons to generate hydrogen gas (H₂) and hydroxide ions (OH⁻), causing the water adjacent to the cathode to become alkaline. At the anode, water molecules lose electrons to produce oxygen gas (O₂) and hydrogen ions (H⁺), resulting in the water near the anode being acidic. A membrane is employed to separate the anode and cathode, effectively preventing the substances generated at the anode and cathode from mingling.

 


Characteristics of Weak Alkaline Water


1. Weakly alkaline: The pH ranges from 7.0 to 10.0, catering to the human body's requirement for a weakly alkaline environment and maintaining the body's acid-base balance.
2. Negative potential: The OPR lies between -150mV and -350mV, facilitating the elimination of wastes such as "excessive free radicals" within the body.
3. Rich in hydrogen: The hydrogen concentration amounts to 0.2 - 0.6ppm, enhancing the body's antioxidant capacity.
4. Small molecule clusters: The small molecular clusters, composed of 3 to 6 water molecules, are approximately one-third the size of tap water and are more readily absorbed by the human body.
5. Active mineralization: It contains appropriate quantities of minerals and trace elements to supplement the human body's needs.

pH Adjustment: During the water production process, water with different pH values (ranging from 7.0 to 10.0) can be produced by adjusting the current to meet the diverse needs of different customers.
Automatic Cleaning: The equipment features a reverse polarity cleaning function, enabling timely cleaning of the equipment and extending the service life of the electrolytic cell.
Advanced Technology: Through electric separation and combination technology, acidic water and alkaline water can be produced simultaneously. The system operates reliably, with low energy consumption and a high output of product water.
