The SVI2 AP (Smart Valve Interface, Advanced Performance) is a 32-bit microprocessor digital valve positioner with a local interface designed to control a pneumatic actuator using a two-wire 4-20mA control signal. This instrument provides an improved performance by offering bi-directional communication using the HART protocol.
The SVI2 AP digital valve positioner has a universal design that makes it easy to retrofit in place of existing analog positioners on Masoneilan or non-Masoneilan pneumatic actuators, regardless of whether they are single or double-acting. With the Masoneilan SVI™ II AP, users can efficiently operate their pneumatic actuators even in the most challenging situations.
Our position sensing technology is designed to sense through the housing, which means that there are no mechanical moving parts entering the main housing cavity, thus significantly prolonging its life. Moreover, it boasts a simple mounting procedure which makes it easy to install and saves time.
