It is a versatile unit that can support three kinds of mounting such as surface to fixtures, through tap holes, and DIN rail types. It additionally features an installation kit that includes screws, caps, and connectors for the mounting. This device has an operating temperature range of 25 to 70 degrees Celsius.
The Allen Bradley 1786-TPS is a ControlNet Coax T-tap module that belongs to the C series of Bulletin 1786 products. It is designed to connect any device and the ControlNet Coax media system. This unit comes with channel A and B cable labels, threaded screws, self-tapping screws, and a BNC connector kit. In addition, it includes a universal mounting bracket, a transition plate, and a dust cap. However, the availability of additional components depends on the mounting tap and installation that users select. Besides that, this ControlNet tap does not require DIN rails, which are designed with distinct materials. However, this part might require additional components such as screws of various lengths, tie wrap for mounting the tap, and a wire strap for tightening the coax cable.
