Carbomer is a kind of acrylic acid bonded to allyl sucrose or pentaerythritol allyl polymer, also known as polyacrylic acid, carboxyvinyl copolymer. This cross-linked structure gives Kapom unique rheological properties and physicochemical stability.
Its molecular structure contains a large number of carboxylic acid groups, which are the key to many of its physical and chemical properties.
Product features: 1. Physical properties
The appearance is white loose powder, slightly odor, soluble in water, glycerin, ethanol and other solvents, insoluble in alkane solvents.
2. Chemical properties
With long rheology, excellent suspension stability for low to medium viscosity formula products, medium ion resistance, can maintain stability at a certain ionic strength, low shear resistance, but can maintain a certain viscosity under shear force, with efficient thickening properties.
