Float Valve Sub Description of Downhole Drilling Tools
Float valve sub is one of the necessary tools for oil drilling. The float valve sub is connected to the upper part of the drill bit, and the float valve assembly in the joint is close to the connection thread of the drill bit, and can also be connected to the required place of the drill string. Its main functions are: to prevent mud from being brought into drill cuttings, sediment backflow, and block the water hole of the drill bit; when blowout and kick occur, the valve cover of the float valve assembly automatically closes the water hole, preventing the inside of the pipe string.
