1. Description
Mullite ceramic is also used for shelves, saggers and props in the ceramic industry together with cordierite.Because mullite has low creep deformation,good thermal shock resistance and good corrosion resistance during firing.
Mullite ceamic display excellent chemical corrosion resistance and very low gas permeability together with favourite refractoriness ,Mullite ceramic ,therefore, has been widely used for saggers and crucibles,thermal protection systems and for thermocoule tubes and so on.
The kiln furniture products are formed through mould pressing, which features low level of heat storage, good thermal shock resistance and excellent quality. They are widely used in firing kilns in the production of mosaic, square bricks, tableware ceramics, sanitary ware ceramics, roofing tiles, magnetic materials and advanced ceramics.
