The customer was developing a new smart device and needed functional prototypes for real-world evaluation.
At this stage, the goal was not simply to create a visual model.

Manufacturing Challenges

1. Achieving Production-Like Appearance with CNC Plastic Prototypes

However, CNC machining naturally creates tool marks that require additional finishing processes.

Step 2: CNC Plastic Machining

The housings were manufactured from PC blocks using CNC machining.

Step 3: Surface Finishing
