Hot die forging is a kind of forging technology. It generally refers to a precision forging method in which the metal blank is plastically formed into the shape and size of the forging using a die after heating the metal blank to a temperature higher than the recrystallization temperature of the material.
According to the different forging processes, hot die forging can be divided into single-process hot die forging and multi-station hot die forging. Single-process hot die forging generally uses friction presses, mechanical presses, hammers, hydraulic presses and other pressure processing equipment for forging, and the workpiece is manually picked and placed; multi-station hot die forging generally uses hot die forging presses for forging, feeding A walking beam manipulator is generally used to improve production efficiency and feeding accuracy.
