The working principle of the strut:

When the motor is not working, the resistance of the screw rod, the resistance of the motor gear box, the spring force and the gravity of the door form a balance torque to keep the door hovering at any position.

When the motor is working, the motor torque breaks the balance. According to the motor torque direction, the strut performs telescopic movement to drive the door to open and close.

1. Before opening the power tailgate, it is important to note that there is no debris, celling, rear wall, etc. In the tailgate opening area, so to prevent the tailgate from scratching.
2. When the power tailgate is completely closed, it will give a “buzz” alarm sound. Do not start the vehicle before you hear the alarm to prevent accidents.
