The 33KV pin type porcelain insulators are specially designed for South African market.
because the target market has very heavy rain , and it is coastal area.
so the insulator design should have bigger creepage distance , normally it should be more than 31mm/kV.
the product are generally used for HV voltage distributions lines.
Glaze color can be grey or chocolate brown . the insulator thread are cemented zinc thimble ,
but in this market , there are no any requirement on semi-conductive glaze .
so the insulator top are normal type design .
when insulator design ready , we need to prepare samples , and tested them according to type test items .
test items listed below:
1: Power frequency dry withstand voltage test
2: Power frequency wet withstand voltage test
3: Lightening impulse withstand voltage test ( Positive and Negative )
4: Temperature cycle test
5: Bending load test
