Installation method / steps of 2S500-50 Water Solenoid Valves:
1,Solenoid valves are usually oriented and cannot be reversed. Usually, the direction in which the medium flows is indicated by "→" on the valve body. Installation should be in the direction indicated by “→” (but the company may sometimes be in a vacuum line or in special cases). There are suggestions to reverse the installation).
2,A manual shut-off valve should be added before and after the solenoid valve and a bypass should be provided to maintain the solenoid valve in the event of a fault.
3,If the medium will cause water hammer, you should choose a solenoid valve with a waterproof hammer function or take appropriate precautions.
4,Before collecting, flush the pipe with a certain high pressure to remove metal powder and sealing material residue, corrosion, etc. in the pipe. Pay attention to the cleanliness of the media. If the media is contaminated with dust, impurities, etc. that impede the normal operation of the solenoid valve, install a filter in the pipe (filter ≥ 60 mesh).
5,The steam trap should be fitted to the inlet side of the steam solenoid valve and the nozzle should be tilted.
6,The solenoid valve should not be installed in the low groove of the pipe and should be installed in the discharge pipe of the container. Please note that it should not be removed from the bottom of the container, but should be installed at the bottom of the container.
7,Be careful not to use excessive sealing material when taking over.
8,Try not to energize the solenoid valve for a long time, which will easily reduce the life of the coil and even burn the coil. In other words, normally open and normally closed solenoid valves are not interchangeable.
