The GE IS420YDOAS1B is a Discrete Output I/O Pack Module, a key component of GE’s Mark VIe Turbine Control System Series—part of the legacy Speedtronic technology lineup for wind, gas, and steam turbine control. As a revised "B" variant of the IS420YDOAS1 parent module, it serves as an electrical interface between up to two Ethernet I/O networks and discrete output terminal boards, enabling reliable control of industrial relays in automated turbine systems.

Key Features:
Discrete Output Control: Manages up to 12 relays, with outputs routed via a DC37 pin connector directly to terminal boards; accepts terminal board-specific feedback for closed-loop monitoring.

Connectivity & Power: Integrates dual Ethernet RJ45 connectors for network communication and a 3-pin power input, ensuring seamless integration into distributed control architectures.

Diagnostic Capabilities: Equipped with 12 yellow LEDs and BBPx processor LEDs, including a red/green ATTN LED. Green patterns confirm online operation.

Protective Design: Features a protective outer chassis around internal circuitry, safeguarding the base printed circuit board for enhanced durability in industrial environments.

Alarm Management: Addresses common diagnostic alarms with solutions like module replacement or reconfiguration to resolve hardware failures or invalid settings.
