Compliance to safety standards A major requirement for compliance to IEC 61508 is the availability of a change history of applications. With the new Safety Builder this is no longer an issue as the Safety Audit Tracker provides an automatically enabled audit trail. It will keep track of all the changes performed on an application automatically. Difficult procedures or extensive loggings are not required. The Safety Audit Tracker, together with the Application Verification Tool, is all that is necessary.
