In the GE Avance CS anesthesia machine, the physical support and module integration of the mounting board and interface board need to be applied to the carrier board to fix and install key components, such as circuit boards, sensors, air circuit solenoid valves, etc. Modules are usually fixed on the mounting board with screws or slots to avoid poor contact caused by vibration or movement. For example, the anesthesia gas delivery module and flow sensor may be directly installed on the Carrier Board. The installation of this feature board does not require uninstalling the entire machine. The installation board may integrate a power bus to provide stable voltage (such as ± 12V, 5V) for multiple sub boards (such as CPU board, air circuit control board). The signals from sensors, such as pressure, flow rate, O2 solubility, etc., need to be transmitted to the motherboard through the interface board for control operations. The instructions from the main control board are transmitted to the executing mechanism through the interface board, and the data from the end of call carbon dioxide (EtCO ₂) sensor needs to be converted by the interface board and sent to the main processor. The pneumatic control board can effectively manage the mixing ratio of anesthetic gases, the opening and closing of flow valves, etc; The communication board is responsible for the network connection between the anesthesia machine and related external devices.
