The Comen C26 fetal monitor sensor interface cable assembly works by using a sensitive core to generate high impedance charge signals. There is a corresponding relationship between the insulation impedance of the sensitive core of the sensor and the low-frequency measurement cutoff frequency of the sensor. In order to ensure the low-frequency response of the sensor, the packaging design of the sensor housing should isolate the sensitive core from the outside to prevent any contamination of the piezoelectric ceramic that may cause a decrease in its insulation impedance. The direct impact of the decrease in insulation impedance of sensitive cores on sensor performance is manifested as a decrease in low-frequency response, and in severe cases, it can also cause changes in sensor sensitivity. To ensure the sealing characteristics of sensors, most sensors are packaged using laser welding. At the same time, with the diverse variety and increasingly improved performance of sealing materials today, using suitable sealing materials instead of laser welding can also meet the requirements of sensor sealing for different usage environments.
To prevent the influence of electromagnetic fields on sensor signals, sensors used for fetal monitor monitoring often require dual shielding shell packaging. The sensor output connector with a double-layer shielding structure generally adopts a dual core connector or a combined cable output form. Due to the structural characteristics of the double-layer shielding shell and the dual core output cable, the high-frequency characteristics of the sensor are generally greatly restricted. The interface cable assembly of this sensor is generally equipped with cables with thinner diameters, and the structural type has better signal shielding. Therefore, this connector is generally used for charge output type acceleration sensors because their output is a high impedance signal that is more susceptible to interference.
