► Precautions for use
If the new battery has been in production for a short time (maximum power), it is recommended to use it until it is completely discharged and then fully recharged. If it has been in production for a long time (low power), it is necessary to fully charge it before use.
After 3 or 4 complete charge and discharge cycles, the battery will reach its optimum performance.
It is recommended to fully discharge and then fully charge the battery after each use, to avoid alternating charging and use, which will reduce the battery life.
Ensure good heat dissipation during charging to avoid accumulation of debris that may impair the heat dissipation of the charger.
Every 3 months or when the battery life is significantly reduced, it is advisable to perform the following optimization process:
Insert a single battery and charge it continuously for more than 10 hours.
Unplug the power supply and discharge it until the monitor automatically turns off.
Charge the battery continuously for more than 10 hours.
► Maintenance and care
Before storing the device, make sure the battery has about 80% of its capacity to avoid self-discharge after a full discharge and damage caused by over-discharge. Remove the battery from the device and store it in a clean and dry place. It is recommended to use a battery case.
Periodically clean the battery contacts and metal contacts in the compartment with a dry cloth to prevent oxidation or stains from affecting their conductivity.
Use a multimeter to measure the voltage: the normal voltage before charging is less than 1.2 V and should reach about 1.4 V after a full charge.
If the full charge icon appears but the battery does not have enough capacity, consider replacing the battery.
