Self-Tapping Screws Overview
DIN968 self-tapping screws are commonly crafted from two main materials: carbon steel (with galvanized or nickel surface finishes) and stainless steel, specifically SUS304 for corrosion resistance. The carbon steel variant typically boasts a tensile strength of at least 400MPa, while stainless steel of grade A2-70 must meet or exceed a strength of 700MPa.
