FC1-CO-1000 Carbon Monoxide Sensor Electrochemical High Precision

 

The FC1-CO-1000 long-life carbon monoxide sensor is based on the principle of a micro fuel cell. When carbon monoxide gas is present in the environment, the gas molecules quickly reach the core detection unit in the sensor through natural diffusion and concentration polarization. An oxidation reaction occurs at the working electrode, and oxygen in the environment undergoes a reduction reaction at the sensor's counter electrode, forming a closed-loop reaction. The generated current is proportional to the carbon monoxide concentration in the environment. By detecting the magnitude of the generated current, the carbon monoxide content in the environment can be accurately quantified.
