1. Material and Construction:

2. Key Properties:
This component is defined by its precise 45°-90°-45° angles, guaranteeing accurate light control. The AR coating provides extremely low surface reflectance (often <0.5% per surface), which directly translates to high transmission efficiency (>99.5% per surface possible) and minimized light loss. This results in superior contrast and a high signal-to-noise ratio by eliminating ghost images and flare.
3. Primary Function:
The fundamental optical function is to bend a light path by 90 degrees or to invert an image 180 degrees. The integrated AR coating is specifically designed to cancel out Fresnel reflections at the glass-air interfaces. This targeted reduction of reflections is what minimizes glare, prevents unwanted scattered light, and ensures that the maximum amount of intended light passes through the system.
