■ Operating characteristics
1. Max. permissible continuous operating temperature of the conductor:
PVC insulated:70℃,XLPE insulated:90℃
Max. short-circuit temperature of the conductor(5s)
PVC insulated:160℃,XLPE insulated:250℃.
The ambient temperature under installation should not below 0℃.
2. The bending radius of a cable.
Single-core cables should not less than 20 times of the cable diameter, others not less than 15 times of the cable.
Mouse proof cable is eligible, because they have passed the mouse pfoor examination of national quality test center of wire and cable and animal experiment graduate school of university of medicinal science in Shanghai.
3. Termite proof power cable is passed through GB2951.38-86.
4. Adopting advanced chemic may of rat proofing, mouse proof or termite proof cable have many virtue, such as easy machining, construction, easy maintenance and light weight etc.
5. They have awfully longer period of validity on mouse proof or termite proof hand, their period of validity are all of twenty years.
6. The finished cable with the requirement of anti-UV-ray should pass manmade weather ageing test. The test should be carried out in accordance with annex A of GB14049-93.
7. The finished cable with the requirement of waterproof should pass waterproof test: after the cable sample is immersed in water for 72 hours, remove the composite layer outside the insulation layer, observe by eyes, the surface of insulation layer should be dry.
