2. Hualai's experiences on chevron mist eliminators,
The design, installation and operation of the demister shall ensure high availability and good demisting effect. It must also have very high removal efficiency for very small water droplets.
The mist eliminator system shall be composed of two-stage plate type mist eliminator, and special attention shall be paid to the influence of the change of fly dust concentration at the inlet of FGD device. A flushing system to remove sediment shall also be included in the demister system. When the demister is running, it can automatically flush according to the corresponding reasonable flushing procedure.

After the gas passes through the chevron mist eliminator, there is basically no mist.
