The NVIDIA MFS1S00-H030V is a high-performance 200Gb/s QSFP56 Active Optical Cable (AOC) designed for data centers requiring high bandwidth, low latency, and reliable fiber optic connectivity. It supports InfiniBand HDR and 200Gb Ethernet, delivering superior performance over multi-mode fiber with a reach of up to 100 meters. This Optical Fiber Cable is ideal for high-density server and switch interconnects.
This AOC complies with SFF-8665 and SFF-8636 standards. It uses VCSEL-based optical technology and supports PAM4 modulation for high-speed data transmission. The cable integrates advanced signal retiming and equalization for improved signal integrity.
The Active Optical Cable converts electrical signals into optical signals via integrated VCSEL transmitters. The optical signals are transmitted over multi-mode fiber and converted back to electrical signals at the receiving end. Each lane operates at 50Gb/s using PAM4 encoding.
