HBcAg test is a rapid and reliable diagnostic tool for the detection of Hepatitis B E Antigen (HBeAg) in human serum, plasma or whole blood specimens. The test uses a cassette format and can produce results in as little as 15 minutes, making it an ideal tool for point-of-care testing.
HBeAg is a viral protein produced by the Hepatitis B virus (HBV) during its replication process. Its presence in a patient's blood indicates active viral replication and high infectivity, which is an important consideration for disease management and infection control. HBcAg test detects HBeAg using highly specific monoclonal antibodies, ensuring accurate and reliable results.
