Insulating glass is a glass product with two or more pieces of glass evenly separated by effective support and bonded and sealed around, so that there is a dry gas space between the glass layers. Its main materials are glass, aluminum frame, molecular sieve, butyl glue and sealant.The glass can be ordinary white glass,tempered,coating (including LOW-E),bent tempered and laminated glass, etc.
The minimum thickness of the gas interlayer of the safety insulated glass should not be less than 6mm, otherwise it will not function as thermal insulation. However, the thickness should not be too large, if it is too large to make the insulated glass too thick. The gaps of the safety insulated glass are currently divided into 6, 9, 12, 16, 19,21,25mm.
