Overview

The 1000M Fiber Optic LAN Card (E-link LNK-LC1000 Series) is a high-performance single-
port network interface card engineered for high-speed fiber optic connectivity in Ethernet networks.
As a 1000M Fiber Optic LAN Card, it offers two interface options: 1X9 Module with SC Connector
(LNK-LC1000-SC Series) and SFP Module (LNK-LC1000-SFP Series), catering to diverse fiber
optic network infrastructures.

This 1000M Fiber Optic LAN Card functions as a reliable Fiber Gigabit Ethernet to PCI-EX1 bus
adapter, fully compliant with IEEE 802.3z and 1000Base-SX/LX standards, ensuring stable and
standardized high-speed network performance. The LNK-LC1000-SC Series 1000M Fiber Optic
LAN Card supports one SC Fiber port (with Duplex Fiber/Single Fiber options), while the LNK-LC
1000-SFP Series 1000M Fiber Optic LAN Card features one SFP port (also with Duplex Fiber/Single
Fiber options), providing flexibility to adapt to different fiber optic setups.

Capable of delivering 1000Mbps Internet access and up to 2000Mbps full-duplex bandwidth capacity,
this 1000M Fiber Optic LAN Card is ideally suited for high-end servers, ensuring efficient and high-
speed data transmission without bottlenecks. It integrates advanced features such as VLAN filtering
and packet processing, enhancing performance, enabling flexible configuration, and securing networking
in standard-based environments.

From a technological standpoint, the 1000M Fiber Optic LAN Card eliminates server bottlenecks and
facilitates cost-effective migration from existing Category-5 networks to 1000M Gigabit Ethernet.
Boasting flexible, auto-negotiating performance, it automatically scales with growing networks to meet
evolving demands. The 1000M Fiber Optic LAN Card integrates hardware acceleration that performs
TCP/UDP/IP checksum offload and TCP segmentation, freeing the CPU for application processing by
offloading host processing tasks. It supports an advanced networks software suite, including increased
fault tolerance, bidirectional load balancing, port aggregation, Jumbo Frame support, VLAN, and server
management software. With a flexible design fitting almost any type of PCI bus, its standards-based
management features and wide network operating system support ensure extensive compatibility with
the latest server and networking environments, making it a versatile choice for various high-speed
network setups.
