- There are typically two types of laminar flow:
  - Vertical Laminar Flow: Air flows from the top to the bottom of the workspace, ensuring that contaminants are filtered out of the work area.
  - Horizontal Laminar Flow: Air flows horizontally from the back of the cabinet toward the front, providing a clean airflow across the work surface.
Clean Workspace:
- The filtered air that passes through the HEPA filter creates a clean environment within the cabinet, protecting sensitive materials from airborne contamination.
