A vapor chamber is a flat heat pipe that spreads heat in two dimensions, making it ideal for high heat flux applications. It is widely used in high-performance CPUs, GPUs, and LEDs — especially with high TDP or overclocked states — to maintain safe operating temperatures and extend component lifespan.
The chamber contains a wick structure with coolant that evaporates and condenses in a continuous cycle, rapidly and uniformly transferring heat across the surface.

Inside, a porous wick enables fluid circulation, while a small amount of working fluid (typically water) vaporizes at lower temperatures under vacuum. This design ensures rapid and efficient heat transfer.
