In terms of function, the hydraulic pump provides high-pressure oil to various executive components of the excavator (such as the boom, stick, bucket, slewing mechanism, and traveling mechanism). When the hydraulic pump is working, it sucks low-pressure oil from the fuel tank, pressurizes it, and delivers it to the distribution valve. Then, the distribution valve distributes the high-pressure oil to the corresponding cylinders or motors according to the operation instructions, driving these executive components to complete actions such as expansion, rotation, and walking. For example, when operating the boom to lift, the high-pressure oil output by the hydraulic pump enters the rodless cavity of the boom cylinder, pushing the piston to extend, realizing the rise of the boom.
