Engineered for battery-grade LiOH·H₂O: single-effect MVR concentration with forced-circulation crystallization and continuous solids handling.

Hanpu delivers EPC turnkey MVR evaporator crystallization systems for lithium hydroxide (LiOH·H₂O). This single-effect MVR line is designed for about 4 t/h evaporation duty* (feed-dependent), concentrating lithium liquor and producing stable, low-impurity crystals. We integrate MVR evaporation, forced-circulation crystallizers, pusher centrifuges, crystal washing, and condensate polishing to minimize energy and maximize yield.

*Capacity depends on feed concentration, temperature window, and required crystal specifications.

How the MVR evaporator works

Core idea: reuse your own vapor as heating medium. The compressor raises vapor temperature so it can condense on the exchanger side and boil more liquor—closing the energy loop.

  1. Evaporate: Lithium liquor is heated; part of the water turns into vapor.
  2. Compress: A mechanical compressor (centrifugal/Roots) increases vapor pressure and temperature.
  3. Condense & Heat: The hot compressed vapor condenses on the heating side, supplying latent heat to boil more liquor.
  4. Recycle: Condensate is collected for polishing/reuse; vapor generation continues with minimal live steam.
  5. Control: VFD-driven compressor, ΔT management, level/pressure loops, and CIP keep duty stable and fouling low.

Compared with steam-driven effects, MVR cuts fresh steam demand dramatically, lowers operating temperature, and improves specific energy for lithium liquor concentration.
