At the heart of the HT81 is a professional Geiger-Müller tube, ensuring sensitive and reliable detection of ionizing radiation particles and rays. This provides accurate readings you can trust for your safety assessments.
The clear digital screen shows real-time data intuitively, presenting radiation levels in multiple units: µSv/h (Microsievert per hour) and CPM (Counts Per Minute). This allows both professionals and enthusiasts to interpret the data easily.
Stay safe with instant notifications. The device emits a distinct clicking sound (traditional Geiger counter sound) for each radiation event detected. You can also set a customizable threshold alarm; when radiation exceeds your set value, the alarm intensifies, and the backlight flashes to provide a urgent warning.
The HT81 automatically stores maximum recorded values, allowing you to review peak radiation levels after your survey. This is crucial for identifying hotspots and for post-inspection analysis.
Built for fieldwork, the meter features a durable casing and a comfortable grip. The integrated kickstand allows for hands-free operation and continuous monitoring of an area. A protective cover shields the sensitive GM tube window when not in use.
