Product Features: Compact & High-Speed Design

The MOTOMAN-GP series has been created with a focus on providing superior handling capabilities. This is achieved through an enhanced payload capacity, speed, and wrist axis torque. The payload capacity has increased by 38%, and the wrist axis load torque has improved, making it possible to support diverse workpieces and gripping tools.

The design of the series allows for high-speed performance across all axes. This has been achieved by optimizing control for various positions in order to reach product limits as quickly as possible. The result is lower acceleration/deceleration times and higher speeds.

The body and arm structure of the MOTOMAN-GP series are slim and user-friendly, minimizing installation space requirements. This has been facilitated by a more compact setup, which is achieved through reduced L and U axis offset. Additionally, power cables can be routed from the bottom to minimize interference with walls.

The series has an extended maximum arm reach and travel range, enabling it to accomplish broad-area operational tasks with ease. This is further enhanced by the symmetrically straight arm design, which restricts interference with surrounding equipment, even in confined spaces.
