1. Introduction

The ZSC series reducer is a vertical sleeve-mounted cylindrical gear reducer. Its most distinctive feature is that it is directly sleeved onto the drive shaft (e.g., a crane travel wheel axle), requiring no additional support or base. The reducer is connected directly to the equipment base via mounting holes on its housing. This "hollow shaft sleeve" design makes its structure very compact, saving installation space, and is particularly suitable for driving the travel mechanisms of lifting and transport machinery. It usually consists of one or two stages of cylindrical gear transmission and is a standard component in the crane industry.

2. Key Parameters

• Models: Usually denoted by center distance and assembly type, e.g., ZSC-350, ZSC-400, ZSC-500, ZSC-600 (the number represents the center distance in millimeters). Suffix letters indicate the assembly type, e.g., Type A.

• Transmission Stages: Single and double stage reduction.

• Ratio Range (i): Relatively small. The common ratio range is typically between 1.8:1 and 12.5:1.

• Center Distance (a): Covers sizes from about 200mm to over 800mm.
