Electrical Safety Measures
It is clearly required that the input voltage aligns with the gate opener's supply voltage to fend off equipment breakdowns or safety incidents stemming from voltage mismatches.
It is mandatory that the power cable be linked to a weatherproof power outlet featuring Residual Current Device (RCD) protection, installed by a competent electrician. This ensures dual protection for electrical safety, making it fit for damp settings like outdoor locations.
Safety Protocols for Installation and Maintenance
Prior to installation and maintenance, the power plug must be unplugged. What's more, tasks such as wiring, electrical circuit alterations, and voltage adjustment are only allowed for qualified electricians, thus removing the electric shock risk at the operation source.
Before motor installation, a Gate End Catch and a Gate Stop should be attached at each rail end to stop the gate from derailing. At the same time, potential gate hazards and exposed pinch points must be removed beforehand to guarantee safety during installation and equipment operation.
Limits on Usage Scenarios and Operational Safety
Installing in explosive environments or areas prone to flooding is forbidden to prevent safety accidents due to extreme conditions. Besides, the equipment is only meant for a single sliding gate, getting rid of safety risks in non - compliant situations.
Control devices must be installed away from the moving range of the gate, and users are prohibited from operating the controls by reaching over, under, around, or through the gate; remote controls and other control devices must be kept out of children’s reach.
