FA-FDR1MR48B-LCP,Swing Out Type Rack Mounted Fiber Optic Patch Panel With LC Duplex Adapter

 

FA-FDR1MR48B-LCP fiber patch panel is suitable for zero water peak fiber, also known as full wavelength fiber. In the traditional manufacturing process of single-mode fiber, there is a light absorption peak called peak water at 1400nm wavelength, the absorption peaks is resulted by hydroxyl ion absorption. The water peaks increase attenuation losses in this particular region. With the research and development of higher transmission rate applications such as 40Gb/s, multi-channel wavelength division multiplexing (WDM- wavelength division multiplexing) is adopted more and more. The traditional single-mode fiber makes 4 channels in E-band cannot be used at the 1400nm water peak region, so it cannot get the best results.

In order to solve the defects of traditional single-mode fiber in multi-channel wavelength division multiplexing (CWDM), a new single-mode fiber named "zero water peak" single-mode fiber is adopted. The high attenuation in the water peak region must be eliminated in order to use the full spectral range. There is no hydroxyl ions in manufacturing of zero water peak fiber, thus it can obtain better attenuation control in the 1400nm region. By eliminating water peaks, not only CWDM technology can be used in E- band, but also it becomes an ideal single-mode optical fiber for high-speed communication.

At present, zero water peak single-mode fiber beyond new index of G.652.D, and it eliminate the influence factors of 1400nm water peak, thus providing a wider transmission bandwidth for users, users can freely use all wavelength from 1260nm to 1620nm, so the transmission channel is enlarged from the previous 240 to 400, 50% available bandwidth is more than conventional single-mode fiber and it provide a solid foundation for coarse wavelength division multiplexing CWDM to upgrade to 100G bandwidth in the future.
