U8340 Motorized Polarization Scrambler
The U8340 electric PDL generator is an electric PDL generator generated by programming the mechanical PDL generator. The internal 4 rotating rings are programmed to produce arbitrary PDL states. By programming control, can generate accurate demand state of PDL, meet the demand of measurement and test, are widely used in the DWDM, GFF, INTERLEAVER, ISLOATOR passive components such as testing.
U8340 is a polarization generator controlled electrically by program instructions. Its polarization control ability improves the measurement speed, accuracy and overall productivity. The continuous length of optical fiber makes it have high power and ultra-low insertion loss. The design provides a wide range of automatic scanning rates and high incremental angular resolution. The four fiber ring structure design has been proven to have good ultra-low power change control (PDL). The U8340 electrodynamic polarization generator has a reliable design and can be used in a wide range of applications from device testing to polarization mode dispersion PMD. (can replace 11896A)
