Silicon Calcium Barium Inoculant Low Impurities Ca-Si-Ba Inoculant For Casting Additives
Si-Ba-Ca alloy is a kind of graphite can promote graphitization, reduce the tendency of white mouth, improve the morphology and distribution of graphite, increase the number of eutectic groups, refine the matrix structure, it has a good effect in a short time (about 5-8 minutes) after inoculation. Mainly suitable for various situations of general casting or late instantaneous inoculation.
Silicon barium inoculant is a block metallurgical material by blending silicon powder and barium powder according to the required ratio with high temperature furnace. It is an additive in the casting process of the foundry.
Good inoculation has the following effects:
Eliminate or reduce the tendency of white mouth;
To avoid the occurrence of supercooled tissue;
Reduce the sensitivity of the wall thickness of cast iron, so that the difference of the microstructure of the thin and thick section of the casting is small, and the hardness difference is small.
It is beneficial to nucleation of eutectic group and increase the number of eutectic group.

1.Improve steel quality, reduce the cost and save aluminum, it is especially applied in continuous casting steel of deoxidizing requirements.

Applications
Application:
1. It can effectively reduce the undercoolingof molten iron, promote the precipitation of graphite, significantly reduce the
tendency of white mouth, reduce the relative hardness, and improve the cutting performance of casting
2. Strong anti-recessionability. The anti-regression time is twice as long as 75 silicon. Also, the addition amount of
silicon-barium inoculant is less than half of 75 ferrosilicon inoculant, while preventing the associated nodularity and decay.
3. Stable chemical composition, uniform processing particle size, small composition and quality deviation.
4. It is a powerful deoxidizer and desulfurizer in the steel making process. The mechanical properties of steel can be improved by adding silicon-barium to the steel.
