Function
1.Refrigerant Storage: It can store the excess refrigerant in the refrigeration system when the load changes, ensuring that the refrigerant circulation in the system is stable. When the refrigeration system is in a low - load state, the accumulator stores the redundant refrigerant; when the load increases, it releases the refrigerant to meet the system's demand, so that the refrigeration device can operate normally.
2.Preventing Liquid Hammer: It can play a role in liquid - gas separation, preventing liquid refrigerant from entering the compressor, avoiding the occurrence of "liquid hammer" phenomenon, and protecting the compressor from damage.
3.Filtering and Moisture Removal: Some refrigerant accumulators are also equipped with filtering devices and desiccants, which can filter out impurities in the refrigerant and remove moisture, ensuring the cleanliness of the refrigerant and the normal operation of the system. In addition, it can also play a certain silencing role to reduce the noise generated during the operation of the refrigeration system.
