Description
The 388-9353 Liner Kit Piston is a core power component custom-developed for CAT C13 series engines, serving as a key part of the engine overhaul and rebuild kit. Based on the standard cylinder bore of 130mm, this product perfectly matches the cylinder cavity structure of the C13 engine, and adopts an integrated design of "piston body + cylinder liner + supporting accessories". The piston body is processed with copper-faced strengthening technology, the cylinder liner is made of high-strength wear-resistant alloy material, and the supporting parts include piston pin, elastic retainer ring, sealing rubber ring and other complete installation accessories, which can be directly used for the overall replacement and overhaul of the engine cylinder system.
It is fully compatible with equipment equipped with C13 engines, such as mining excavators, engineering loaders, and heavy-duty trucks. It is applicable to mainstream models including CAT E345D excavator, 966H wheel loader, CT660 truck, etc. Designed in full compliance with CAT's original technical specifications, it ensures seamless compatibility with the engine's original system, effectively solving problems such as power reduction, increased fuel consumption, and excessive exhaust emissions caused by piston wear, cylinder liner scratch and other faults, and providing reliable support for the restoration of engine performance.

Reinforced Material Technology, Upgraded Durability: The combination of piston copper surface plating and cylinder liner boron alloy cast iron not only improves wear resistance and high temperature resistance, but also reduces the friction coefficient between piston and cylinder liner to below 0.03. While reducing power loss, the service life of components is extended by more than 30%, far exceeding that of ordinary aftermarket products.
Integrated Kit Design, More Worry-Free Overhaul: Provide a full set of accessories in the form of components, avoiding the model matching problem when purchasing piston, cylinder liner and accessories separately; all components have undergone pre-assembly testing to ensure sealing performance and matching accuracy, which can be easily operated by novice maintenance personnel and reduce the risk of overhaul errors.
Dual Advantages of Power and Economy: The optimized combustion chamber structure and precise sealing design increase fuel combustion efficiency by 8%-12%. On the basis of restoring the rated power of the engine, the daily fuel consumption is reduced by 5%-8%; at the same time, the engine oil consumption is reduced, and the oil change interval can be extended to 500 hours, further reducing the operating cost.
Material Performance: Piston body adopts ZL109 high-strength aluminum alloy base material + surface copper plating, Brinell hardness ≥110HB, high temperature resistance up to 450℃, impact strength ≥25J/cm²; cylinder liner adopts boron alloy cast iron, wear resistance increased by 60% compared with ordinary cast iron, with nitriding treatment, surface roughness Ra ≤0.8μm.
Sealing & Power Performance: Supporting piston ring parameters: 1 compression ring (3.5DK specification), 2 oil rings (3.00/4.00 specification), uniform sealing pressure error ≤5%, which can effectively prevent gas leakage; when the engine is at rated speed of 1800rpm, it can maintain the cylinder compression pressure stably at 12.5±0.5bar, ensuring power output efficiency.
Durability Index: Under normal working conditions (8 hours of daily work, 70% load), the service life can reach more than 12000 hours; after 1000 cold and heat shock cycle tests (-20℃ to 400℃), there are no defects such as cracks and deformation.
